We were visiting from out of state and this was a great place to take the kids. I’m sure spring and fall is the best time to visit. We were there in the winter, so it was a bit cold, but not bad. It was really crowded between nap time so if you go around 2:00pm there’s not gonna be a ton of people.

What a cool place! They have indoor and outdoor activities for the kids. Very hands on. Live animals and property and science centers. Great place to take the kids for a few hours.

Great way to wind down from a long day at the beach. Lots of fun for kids of all ages. Some exhibits were inactive but the wide variety of other activities greatly makes up for it

Had a wonderful time with our 4 year old great granddaughter. The exhibits were fascinating for us as well as her! She loved “digging for dinosaur bones.” The nature trail with a life size animals was a hit. The huge bubble-maker was a perfect Kodak moment. We built a child sized house for her from magnetic squares as well as a T-Rex from foam rubber “bones.” Could have easily spent a whole day there but we needed a nap.

Fun place for kids! There was plenty for us to do and the placed seemed much bigger than it is. They have a very nice outdoor playground area, with art, activities m, pond, playground, and even an hammock lol The inside had lots of interactive things fun for kids and adults too. We will plan to go back next time we come to Navarre.

The Emerald Coast Science Center is a very special place; full of interactive science and rescue animal exhibits. My son LOVES coming here. The staff is wonderful. It’s comfortable and inviting—the perfect environment for children of all ages to touch, question, and try things out in a way that helps them develop an organic love of science. In addition to the outdoor exhibits, there’s a large outdoor space for creative play, fossil excavation, and a scale model of the Florida trail, as well as a few more animal features. Our family enjoyed it so much that we got a one year membership!

My husband called this "some kind of joe dirt museum" and the kids said "this is the best place I've ever been." I think both are accurate. I loved the STEM sticker selection they had, the kids got close encounters with some animals and had …
